Meme Week: All The Things

I think that everyone in my life is just a little too aware of my love of memes. My poor husband looks at me bewildered every time I make a meme reference, but at least I'll always have you, internet friends. You understand my love of all thing things and cats and everything else that ain't no one in real life got time for. I'm really excited, not only because memes, but also because I'm officially hosting my first challenge. It's beyond amazing that so many of you have decided to jump on board and I can hardly wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Today's theme is all the things. I had a hard time choosing what to do. I thought of using all the polish, gluing all the rhinestones or going literal with the cute little all the things character. In the end I decided to try all the techniques. A lot of these are new to me too, so this was fun. This has also officially been my most time consuming mani. I started sometime around noon and didn't finish painting until 6. I'll admit, I was painting very slowly, but with all the different techniques it was hard to multi-task. I love how it turned out- very colorful and bright.

I can't get over how sparkly the beads look on the right there.

What I used:
The thumb, pointer and pinkie got 2 coats of Wet n Wild, French White Creme as a base for the various techniques.
Pink- China Glaze, Sexy Silhouette
Navy- Ulta, Moody Blues
Minty green- Sinful Colors, Mint Apple
Silver Holo- Color Club, Harp On It

Thumb- water marble
Pointer- sponged gradient with holo stamping, Bundle Monster plate BM-315
Middle- fish tail braid
Ring- Caviar beads (found them at the Dollar Tree- lucky!)
Pinkie- double reverse striping tape gradient (I was so amazed the first time I saw these. I'm glad my first attempt turned out half way decent)

What do you think? Did I do enough techniques to properly embody the theme? I can't help but wonder if I could have somehow added in glequins, rhinestones, studs and glitter.

Oh the glorious holo. I may just use this polish in every mani from now on. Forever.
