The First One!

I think it's fitting that my first post is a manicure done in honor of a few other firsts. We'll be spending part of the weekend with my favorite nephew, Fin, up in the mountains. It's just a couple weeks after his first birthday and this will be his first snow. I'm so excited to see his reactions and hopefully see a few of his first steps as well.

I've used 1 coat of Wet n Wild I Need a Refresh-Mint as my base. I was so surprised by how well it covered on the first coat that I didn't even bother to go back and add a second. The sponged tips and white accents are Finger Paints Paper Mache. For the trees I've used China Glaze Holly-Day and Spoiled Pumping Gas and the tiny house is Sally Hansen Brick Wall. I thought this would be a perfect chance to try out my new pearl buttons from Born Pretty on my pinky finger. I've topped it all off with a very goopy coat of Seche Vite. Hopefully the new year will bring me a new bottle because my current one is almost gone.
